The Canton and the City of Bern, the city and the economic area of Thun and also the Jungfrau region are collaborating to present the highlights of their tourism and economic strategies at the Expo Shanghai, World Exhibition 2010, from May 22 to June 20.

The City of Bern is the capital of Switzerland. Its old town is part of the UNESCO World cultural heritage. The City and region of Thun is the gateway to the Bernese Oberland (Bernese Alps) and is situated on the shore of the Thunersee at the foot of the Bernese Alps. The Jungfraujoch – the “Top of Europe“ - is located in the alpine wonderland of the Swiss high mountain region. For 365 days each and every year the Jungfrau railway conveys its tourist guests from Interlaken to the highest rail station in the whole of Europe at an altitude of 3454 metres above sea level in this world of snow and ice.

The Berne Economic Development Agency presents the attractive business location of the Greater Geneva Bern area in the Swiss Pavillion on the occasion of investor seminars for Chinese companies.
