As the largest continuous snow sport region, the Matterhorn ski paradise offers 350km of the best prepared ski slopes in winter, of which over 65% are snow-covered – snow is guaranteed!
The Zermatt Bergbahnen mountain railway system takes guests to the most beautiful places around the Matterhorn: Matterhorn glacier paradise: The highest viewpoint in Europe (3,883 m above sea level) that can be reached by railway. Experience the fascinating world of eternal ice in the mystical Glacier Palace, or be spoiled by the new Minergie-P compliant restaurant against the backdrop of a heavenly view. Snow and snow sport 365 days a year - in summer on over 21 km of slopes.
Rothorn paradise: 3,103 m above sea level, here you'll find the best view of the Matterhorn and countless exciting activities, such as themed walks and sunrise excursions. From all the hiking trails to the various mountain lakes, the Matterhorn always remains in view. Down below Sunnegga, in the hamlet of Findeln, you can enjoy the culinary offerings of a charming mountain restaurant (partly with Gault Milau points).
