Titlis Rotair is one of the largest mountain railway companies in Switzerland, owning several restaurants between Engelberg and Mount Titlis as well as the mountain hotel Trübsee at the middle station (1,800 m).

Hotel Terrace in Engelberg is also part of the Titlis Rotair mountain railway group. This hotel, the largest 3-star hotel in central Switzerland, has 168 rooms (373 beds).

The holiday resort of Engelberg is located a mere 35 km from Lucerne. The train ride from Lucerne to Engelberg takes just under an hour and passes through a landscape offering changing views. By road one can reach this monastery town in about 40 minutes. With 3 different cable cars, Titlis Rotair offers a 45 minute ride with varied views from Engelberg (1,050 m) up to Mount Titlis (3,020 m).

The first revolving aerial cable car in the world, the Rotair runs from the location of the glacier station at Stand (2,500 m) across the imposing Titlis Glacier up to the three-thousand-meter-high peak. From Titlis Mountain Station one can enjoy a unique panoramic view. Other attractions include a ride with the glacier chairlift the Ice Flyer, the fascinating, specially lit Gletschergrotto (an ice cave) and the Glacier Park, the only one of its kind in the Alps with snow tubing.

With 25 lift facilities and 80 km of ski slopes, Engelberg - Titlis is the largest snow sport area in central Switzerland. With the Titlis Glacier and state of the art snow making machines, Titlis Rotair offers guaranteed snow-covered slopes from November to May.
